My Ten Favorite Lush Products

I love Lush cosmetics so much and have tried a LOT of them. I love that they are all natural, fairly traded, and cruelty free, and I really appreciate the variety that they offer for different skin and hair types. Here's a list of some of my favorites:

10) Sultana of Soap

This is one of my favorite bar soaps, with a creamy lather and a really unique scent of bergamot, olibanum, and various fruits and seed oils.

It's fruity and earthy at the same time, and leaves your skin luxuriously soft.

9) Saucy Snowcake

This is another soap, but it's seasonal, so it is only available during Christmas time. It smells absolutely heavenly, scented like marzipan, and it has a light scrub to it as well.

8) BB Seaweed

One of the fresh face masks, this is my favorite thing to treat the skin on my face to. It has a really wide variety of ingredients, from nourishing seaweed to ground almonds, honey, and various floral extracts. It's really good for sensitive skin, gently exfoliating and deeply moisturizing, and I've noticed that, at least for me, it really evens out skin tone.

7) Henna Hair Dye

This is a super fun and affordable way to dye and treat your hair, simultaneously. It leaves hair super soft and shiny. The natural colors range from dark brown to a fiery red, and it naturally fades back to your natural color, so you don't have to deal with awkward roots growing in. Depending on the person, the color can stay in for up to several months.  A block is $28 and is good for 1/2 dyes, depending on how long and thick your hair is: with really short hair, it could cover three, pretty easily.

6) Movis

This is my all time favorite face soap! It has a spongy texture and is made with whole wheat ingredients, along with sandalwood oil and breadcrumbs, making it very exfoliating and brightening for the skin. It won't leave skin dry at all, and one small block of it will last forever. I've been on the same one for over eight months and it's not even half way gone.

5) Hair Custard

This is great, especially for short hair. It softens and styles hair, and it has an incredible vanilla scent to it. It's best to apply it evenly through your hair while it's still wet.

4) Eau Roma Water

This is a super simple but effective spray toner. Rose and lavender water work together to cool, balance, and moisturize skin. It feels very clean and is super refreshing, leaving a wonderful floral scent.

3) Angels on Bare Skin

Kaolin clay, ground almonds, lavender, rose, and chamomile oil make this a really soothing scrub/cleanser that you can use for both your body and your face.  It is gentle and works for pretty much any skin type. Just mix it with water in the shower and massage it into your skin.

2) Jason and the Argan Oil

As someone who travels a lot and is kind of super cheap in general, I love the shampoo bars so much, because they are solid, making them easy for packing and flying, and they last for a really long time. Even when I had really long, thick hair, washing it every other day, a bar would last me for about three months. This one is my favorite because the argan oil is incredible for hair, making it super shiny and controlling frizz, without sacrificing any body. It cleans hair really well without drying it out or irritating your scalp. Also, it smells like roses (I really like rose.)

1) Buffy

I tried this for the first time a few months ago, and it is absolutely incredible. It's an in-shower body butter. Probably not for people who have really sensitive skin, it is a very intense exfoliant, as well as a deep moisturizer that works better and lasts longer than any lotion I've ever used. This thing has smoothed my skin out so much. It's even brought down/eliminated the annoying red bumps that show up on my arms and legs.
